Development of Scale Invariant lens Opacity Estimation System using Hough Circle Detection Transform Normalization and Entropy

Clear eye lens is responsible for correct vision. Ageing effect acquires opacity at structure causing foggy or blurred It termed as cataract. This may become cause of permanent blindness if remain unidentified and untreated. Due to hazards change in environment adoption sluggish lifestyle many diseases like cataract are becoming universal challenge health organization over the world. Lack medication diagnosis facility developing countries makes savior vision problem. Proposed methodology suggests image processing based, low cost solution detection. In this system from input acquired using Iterative Hough circle detection transform. normalized Daugman’s rubber sheet normalization algorithm which scale invariant. Structural variation estimated terms entropy mean value. Comparison right left half entropies basis estimation opacity. used detect categorize easily based on structural features one three grades such “No cataract”, “Cortical cataract” “Nuclear cataract”.
